The MOFILM advertising filmmaking contest was the premiere showcase and competition for spec commercials, In 2010, MOFILM sponsored a contest for AT&T, The assignment was to create a 30-second commercial featuring the line “AT&T’s super-fast network means the difference between a good decision and a bad one.”

We made this film within a week with a crew of three people. We filmed with the RED One cinema camera, the first and only digital cinema camera at the time. This was unusual for a MOFILM submission, which typically used consumer cameras. I played the bear in this film, donning a gorilla suit. I directed, edited, colored, and designed the motion graphics.

This film became one of the finalists in the contest.
